Breaking Dawn - The Nomads

Click on the cast name to go to their imdb page and the character name to view their bio.

Turned during the Revolutionary War, Garrett has chosen to live a nomadic existence, wandering the world on his own. Garrett has never lost the rebellious spirit of his human life, and loves a good fight, always rooting for the underdog. Though not a vegetarian, Garrett is among Carlisle’s closest and oldest friends.
Toni Trucks will play Mary
Mary and Randall are American nomadic vampires.
Erik Odom will play Peter

Peter and Charlotte are nomadic vampires and mates. They were created during the aftermath of the Southern Vampire Wars, in which Jasper was a key player. They have remained friends with Jasper ever since.
A nomadic vampire from England, Alistair has a misanthropic, brooding personality and a deep mistrust of all authority. Although he counts Carlisle as his closest acquaintance, he doesn’t visit more than once a century.
I'm pretty happy with all of these. I will now mope off to mourn the fact Justin Hartley is not playing Garrett. I suppose he's just too busy being Green Arrow. I shall have to make due with Lee Pace. *sigh* Again, I really expected Alistair to look older. You'd think by the fourth/fifth movie I would have learned!

Breaking Dawn - The Romanian Coven

Click on the cast name to go to their imdb page and the character name to view their bio.

The Romanian Coven is one of the oldest covens in the world and they were the ruling vampire family until they were unseated by the Volturi. For that reason they harbor a centuries old resentment of the Italian coven.
These guys are younger than I expected for these roles. A reminder that just because vampires have been around a long time doesn't mean they look like senior citizens.

Breaking Dawn - The Irish Coven

Click on the cast name to go to their imdb page and the character name to view their bio.

Marlane Barnes will play Maggie

Lisa Howard will play Siobhan

Patrick Brennan will play Liam
The Irish Coven, a relatively young group, was founded by Siobhan and Liam, but Maggie’s talent made her an important element of it. They are not vegetarian but they are civilized.
I am absolutely thrilled with the casting of Maggie! If anyone can direct me to the correct imdb page for Patrick Brennan I would greatly appreciate it. My detective skills aren't working well at the moment and I'm blogging on my own since the fantastic Eimear is off to visit her own Irish coven! LOL She is certainly missed around here!
Thanks to @debb24601 for coming to my rescue with the info I needed!

Breaking Dawn - The Egyptian Coven

Click on the cast name to go to their imdb page and the character name to view their bio.

The Egyptian Coven consists of Amun, Kebi, Benjamin, and Tia, with Amun as the leader. It is stated that even though they are not a biological family, they could pass for one. Amun is extremely protective of his family and fearful of Aro.
Thanks to Twilight Lexicon for the fantastic character bios!

Breaking Dawn - The Amazon Coven

Click on the cast name to go to their imdb page and the character name to view their bio.

Tracey Heggins has been cast as Senna
Among the oldest vampires in the world, Senna and Zafrina are descendants of an ancient Amazonian tribe. They have lived outside of civilization for centuries and therefore make no attempt to keep up a human facade. Though they drink human blood, the Amazons have long been allies of Carlisle.
Judi Shekoni has been cast as Zafrina

I am in awe of how gorgeous both of these women are! I cannot wait to see them in these roles. What do you think?

Pattinson Music interviews Sofar Sounds

Pattinson Music recently interviewed Rocky, Dave and Rafe, the founders of Sofar Sounds. These are the guys who made it possible for the whole world to see this clip of Rob performing at one of their gigs.

This is such an awesome movement and I hope to one day get to attend one of these shows. This is such a wonderful way to showcase these artists in an intimate and unique setting. Here are some excerpts from the interview but I encourage you to go read the rest and get on the Sofar Sounds mailing list!
Lastly, if you don’t mind, I’d like to inquire a bit about Robert Pattinson’s performance on behalf of our community. Did he volunteer to play? Can you describe his performance style, his musical style for us?
He sure did. He was in the audience and clearly enjoying the music. Halfway through the gig he asked if we would mind if he played. As there were 5 other acts pre booked to play we said ‘sure!’ but that it would have to be at the end of the night. He was nervous –Rob said it had been about a year since he had played live and hoped he remembered what to do. He was very down to earth and shy about it. It was getting late once he grabbed the guitar and walked to the ‘stage’ (the front of a private home in north london) - so we agreed he’d play one song. He has a very rich and soulful style – sweet-sad lyrics – a sound not unlike his friends Marcus Foster and Bobby Long.

We’ve been so patient waiting for him to perform and your clip gave us so much hope! Do you plan on releasing the full song he performed? And can you see him returning for another performance?
We will definitely release the full clip of his performance in the coming months. Just arranging when a good time to do so (watch this space: www.sofarsounds.com). And as he truly enjoyed playing Songs From A Room (and played well), I’m pretty certain he’ll be back.

Is there anything else you'd like to add? Any questions I may not have covered that you'd like to answer?
Please encourage folks to let us know if they want to host a living room gig in their home – wherever they live. Especially looking for people who love live music and follow local bands (even better if they are friends with musicians – but not critical). They can get in touch by emailing me on rafeoffer@yahoo.com and signing up to our mailing list at www.sofarsounds.com
Thanks to TwiFans for bringing this wonderful interview to our attention!

I'm seriously drooling over both of these pieces, but they are out of my budget...unless my children don't really need Christmas presents. LOL
