Kristen's new co star sings her praises!

Kristen's new co star Garret Hedlund has been singing her praises to MTV at this past weekend's Comic Con. Garrett will be playing Dean Moriarty to Kristen's Mary Lou in Walter Salle's adaptation of Jack Kerouac's 'On the Road'.

"The film has been in pre-production up in Montreal, as the cast and crew get ready to start shooting. Hedlund said right now the cast is going through "boot camp" and "intensive research with biographers."  Even though they won't start shooting until August, Hedlund had nothing but nice things to say about Stewart. "She's got it all there. She's where she needs to be. She's fantastic," he gushed. He also said Sam Riley, who plays Jack Kerouac in the film, is "incredibly devoted and a hard worker and also a fantastic actor.  "We've had wonderful times up there in Montreal. Just hoping to make a wonderful film that can fulfill everyone's expectation of what this can actually be," Hedlund said. "The family that we're surrounded by is wonderful and unbelievable and, for me, I'm kind of on cloud nine.""

Michael Sheen talks 'Breaking Dawn' at Comic Con

Michael Sheen spoke to Fearnet.com at Comic Con about his upcoming projects and 'Breaking Dawn'

"As for the fate of his Twilight character in Breaking Dawn, Sheen remarked, "Well, there's no secret, because there's a book out, so you just have to read the book to find out what happens. But it's still early days really. There's no script and nothing's been set up definitely yet. I'm hoping it'll all work out."

I am excited to see how 'Breaking Dawn' the movie will show Aro more Michael is such a great actor.   In the book he is really only there at the end. I wonder will there be flash backs using Alice's visions? How do you think they will handle Aro in 'Breaking Dawn'?

Tate talks about working with Rob

Tate Ellington who played Aidan in 'Remember Me' has talked about working with Rob with OK magazine. Thanks to RobertPattinsonLife for the heads up

What was it like working with Rob on Remember Me, did you guys strike up an instant rapport?
"Yeah I think so [I hope so]! I met Rob at the screen test and luckily I wasn't too nervous that day as I was like I probably won't get the job so...
"But when I got the job and I met him again, he was automatically as nice as can be and I had to make a point to be more talkative as I can be really shy, and Rob had a bit of shyness too.
"I was happy he wasn't like this big jerk coming into the room and he was utterly always so humble and nice about everything."

You played Rob's best friend in the movie, did you guys spend time getting to know each other in preparation?
"After I got the job we had a couple of times where we would go to the hotel where he was staying and get to know each other.
"We sat around and had a beer and just chatted - it was good.
"I felt very comfortable with him from the get go. And I met Emilie de Ravin not long after, and automatically we were all jerking around!"

You had just finished a stint on Broadway with actor Matthew Broderick when you got the Remember Me job. Were you used to working with big Hollywood stars by the time you met the cast?
"Oh yeah! I was pretty terrified! Initially I was really excited when I found out who was gonna be in it but everybody was so nice...there was never any reason to be intimidated."

Were you a Twilight fan before you started working on this movie?
"I was not... I actually made a point not to watch Twilight [when I got the role], but a girl I was dating at the time was an insane fan about it.
"She explained to me all four books, I was like that sounds great I might read that at some point! She was also a Harry Potter fan and got me hooked on it and when I heard Rob was in it, I was like Oh Cedric Diggory! Oh no wait, Twilight... [laughs]

"I watched Twilight not too long after we finished shooting and I kinda expected it to be a bit girly but it was good - I was like, way to go Rob!"
"At some point I have to watch New Moon - I still haven't seen it. But it feels weird now - you're like watching a friend.

Rob quite famously got mobbed by dozens of fans on the New York set... What was that like?
"It was like a running joke [when Rob got mobbed on-set.]

"The producers sort of prepped me, they were like this sort of thing might be happening and I got there the first day and exactly that happened and I was like woah, you weren't kidding!
"We had to figure out how we were gonna get round it. It was tricky."

How did Rob cope with all the attention?
"He was so great, I dunno if i could do that everyday, the guy can't even walk down the street - that would probably throw me.

"But it was hilarious 'cos everyday you knew exactly when Rob was gonna show up on set, you'd just hear the screams and you'd be like - oh Rob's coming!
"We always got a kick of that. The crew handled it really amazingly.
"You just kinda got used to it and it was nice - everyday there was just a lot of people there to say hello!"

Did he get a bit freaked out the time?
"Rob was initially a bit... New York is quite an enclosed space but he figured it out.
"[But] he was always so nice to all the fans.
"It was always overnight for him. I think he's really settling into it now. I think he's done a great job with it.
"i dunno if I could cope with it... It would freak me out."

How would you describe your character, Aidan, in the film?
"He's a complete jerk and anyone would punch this guy in the face, but regardless of all the things he says and does he has the best intentions.

What drew you to the role?
"When I read the script I was like, I want this guy to show through in the moments where he can.
"He has a big heart and he feels things for this people. Tyler is like his adopted family and he's always trying to look out for his friend.
"He's the kinda guy you can call whenever you're in any sort of trouble and he'll be there in a heartbeat."

Rachelle heads 'Off the Map'

EW is reporting that Rachelle LeFevre has joined the cast of ABC's 'Off the Map'. Rachelle herself also tweeted her excitement;

"So unbelievably excited to been joining "Off the Map"!!!!! Such a talented group of people to be working with and for! Yay!!!"

"Rachelle Lefevre apparently isn’t going to rest until she plays a doctor on TV. The ex-Twilight actress, who had a role in John Wells’ ill-fated CBS medical drama pilot, is joining the cast of ABC’s upcoming Shonda Rhimes-backed physicians-in-paradise soap Off the Map.
Lefevre’s character, Eva, is a free-spirited missionary doc who is well versed in international medicine and global health. She worked at the clinic before, but left due to her troubled romantic history with its founder, Ben (Martin Henderson)."

Cam Gigandet debuts 'Priest'

Cam Gigandet has been busy since 'Twilight' and he debuted his new movie 'Priest' at Comic- Con.  This new movie also deals with the theme of vampires but Cam says it is very different from 'Twilight';

"I play Sheriff Hicks," he said. "I'm the sheriff of a small town where my girlfriend gets kidnapped by this pack of vampires, so I enlist Paul Bettany's, Priest's, help, and we are on the road to find and rescue her."
Gigandet said that, although there are vampires involved in the movie, fans expecting the romantic "Twilight"-style vamps will be in for a shock.
"It's very, very different from 'Twilight,' " he said. "The similarities kind of end with what they're called, which is vampires."  Gigandet said the world of "Priest," directed by Scott Charles Stewart, is also entirely different. "The world Scott created is kind of unlike any other," he said. "Sometimes it was hard to visualize what he had in his mind, but I've seen clips, and its unbelievable. ... Just to work with all of these people, they're such an amazing cast. I didn't have any doubts [about taking on another vampire-related role]."

Join in the Hush, Hush Discussion

You may have noticed a new little button that appeared over on the right sidebar last week. While of course, we all love Twilight, we have to remember there are other books out there. RaShell talked about some of them in her post last week. Completely by coincidence she even used the cover of Hush, Hush in her post.
T bought Hush, Hush and brought it to me, swooning over Patch and telling me that I just had to read it. I devoured it in 24 hours and started telling everyone I knew that they should read it. One of those people was the wonderful Cutie over at Super Secret Twilight Blog. (Which, I love you Cutie dear, but you must admit, it's now a pretty poorly kept super secret.) She also fell in love with Patch, and possibly a bit more in lust with him than the average reader. Her devotion and the upcoming release of Crescendo, the continuation of his story, led her to put together a whole group of bloggy Hush, Hush fans and host a book discussion.

The Prologue through chapter 3 is up now. Check it out and leave some comment love. There will be giveaways and surprises throughout the discussion. And if you haven't read it yet...why not??? Get your hands on a copy immediately and get to reading. I can vouch for Patch...tell him Amber and Cutie sent you.
