Rob's a rockstar according to Nikki

Robert Pattinson was on top of his game at the premiere of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse at the LA Film Festival Thursday night, and was on the “black carpet” to watch the fans and even his co-stars go wild for him as soon as they saw him.
“Rob’s a superstar,” Nikki Reed exclusively told as R-Pattz walked behind her on the carpet. The deafening screams by the fans that had waited for four days to see their favorite vampire had Nikki politely asking “Do you want to wait? Can you hear me?” when we started the interview.
Looking gorgeous in a Marchesa dress that she told us was “so comfortable,” Nikki said it was better to talk with Rob off the carpet at a premiere.  “It’s more fun to see him when he’s not on the red carpet because you can actually hear!”
Bryce Dallas Howard, who replaced Rachelle Lefevre as the evil vampire Victoria, was not above acting like a fan around Rob. “Look what he’s wearing! He’s perfect,” she gushed over her co-star in Eclipse. She even joked that she was “Verklempt over the possibility of talking to Rob!”
Taylor Lautner worked the crowd of fans like a pro and told exclusively why he still likes playing Jacob. “Why still? It keeps growing and growing my passion for Jacob. I have a lot of fun with him, he’s always changing from movie to movie, so he’s never the same.”
Kristen Stewart was stunning in her Elie Saab one sleeved dress, and when we asked her what's the best thing about playing Bella, she told us honestly, “That’s like a way longer question!” Watch the video on

Taylor talks to his abs?!

Taylor "Talks To His Abs" Says Eclipse Wolfpack Co-Star

The werewolves in Eclipse are known for their abs of steel, and has learned the secret of how hunky Taylor Lautner gets ripped and ready for his sexy scenes.

"He talks to his abs!" Alex Meraz revealed exclusively to at the Eclipse premiere in Los Angeles on Thursday night. "Kind of the way you talk to tomatoes if you want them to grow? So he sits there, he talks to them, and they grow. He's got like a 10 pack now."

Taylor laughed when he heard what Alex said about his impressive abs. "That's funny," the 18 year-old hunk exclusively told It isn't easy to keep up his mighty muscles. In fact, "It's a lot of work," Taylor admitted.

The werewolves all have one thing in common in Eclipse - they don't wear a lot of shirts! "Maybe there was probably like one scene where I had to wear a shirt," Tyson Houseman told on the 'black carpet' at the star-studded premiere.

New Gil Birmingham interview

The Twilight Examiner has a great interview with Gil Birmingham from last nights 'Love Ranch' premiere (which Kristen also attended).  As well as discussing 'Eclipse' he also discussed his other projects and working with Rob, Kristen and Taylor.

"K: Can you talk at all about your role in Eclipse or the film in general? How did this experience differ from the others, and how would you characterize the different directors and what they brought to each film?

G: When filming Eclipse, it was still cold, and always rainy. We filmed Eclipse back to back with New Moon so there wasn’t too much time separation. It was just like coming home. The different directors have different set environments- during Eclipse we had to put big shields up and make more of an encampment to protect against long shots and paparazzi.

The progression of the story becomes darker; all these werewolves are running around without their shirts. I felt bad for them. In the film, while I can't transform, I can forsee what's going to happen.
David Slade works at a faster pace. He’s definitely hilarious in a very dry English sort of way, which I resonate with. He was very good at communicating what he wanted to get out of the scenes.
It's still a great ride to be on, but you feel a little of the pressure now. Filming still has the same feel-- jumping back into the skin of the characters. It really creates bonds that make you feel like you're part of a family. We worked cold, long hours. The casting was so perfect; the chemistry from day one with the new wolves. I called them the puppy pack because they were all hyped up and energized. They did some really great work."

More from EW 'Eclipse' Interview

Entertainment Weekly have released another excerpt from their 'Eclipse' issue on stands tomorrow. They talk in this part about their roles in the movies, Oprah, staying fit, and what it took to film a climactic scene in Eclipse, in which the three characters are forced to wait out a blizzard in incredibly close proximity.

"ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: One scene fans have been dying to see takes place in the tent during the snowstorm. Jacob warms up Bella with his body because Edward is cold-blooded and can’t do it himself.
LAUTNER: The tent scene is probably my favorite, because it’s the first time Edward and Jacob are actually able to connect and understand each other.

How many takes did you go through to get that scene?
LAUTNER: Two days originally to film it, and then a full day of reshoots.

PATTINSON: [The director] wanted it to be more erotic. Seriously.
STEWART: It’s true. In the book there’s a serious sexual tension. As I’m sleeping, Jacob is staring over my vulnerable body, and he’s naked in this f- - -ing sleeping bag because you heat up faster that way, and Jacob and Edward are leveling with each other.

Taylor, you and Rob have some pretty serious confrontations in this movie.
LAUTNER: Some of those scenes were pretty hard for me. I think we ruined a couple of takes in front of the house and in the tent. It’s just, I don’t know, I have a hard time looking at him…
STEWART: Ha! “I have such a hard time looking at him”!
LAUTNER: [Laughs] I wasn’t finished. He and I were thisclose to each other — we are literally, like, an inch away — and we’re screaming at each other.
STEWART: And about to kiss…
LAUTNER: A couple of moments it felt like that.
PATTINSON: Every single time we had to do a threatening thing to each other — for one thing, you always have your shirt off, and so in the tent scene I literally grabbed your breast. And it’s very difficult to remain in the moment. Also, in that tent scene, I can’t really get over the fact that the word thought sounds like fart.
STEWART: The word thought does not sound like fart.
STEWART: Maybe because you are an English person.
PATTINSON: The opening line of that scene is “Can you at least keep your farts to yourself?” I couldn’t quite get over that."

EW 'Eclipse' interview preview and cover sneak peek!

EW has released another preview of their interview with Robert, Kristen and Taylor and released sneak peeks of their 'Eclipse' covers.

In today’s preview, the stars open up about the glare of the media spotlight and how its intrusiveness recently led Stewart to compare it to  rape — a comment she has since apologized for.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: Do you feel more at peace about being in the spotlight these days?
KRISTEN STEWART: I just feel more comfortable, more myself, and I feel less bare. I feel much more like nobody can take anything from me. Before, I felt literally like my chest was cracked open and people could just reach in and examine and pick at anything they wanted, and it just freaked me right out.
You got a lot of criticism recently for comparing the intrusiveness of the paparazzi to rape. The comment got blown out of proportion very quickly, and you apologized.
STEWART: I’m so sensitive about stuff like that. That is the one subject that means a lot to me. I made one movie directly concerning it [2004's Speak], and I made another one where my character has a horrible history of rape [2010's Welcome to the Rileys]. I talked to a lot of people about it. I used the wrong word. I should have said “violated.” But I’m young and emotional. It’s just the way it goes sometimes. I probably shouldn’t say this, but I just feel like people got so excited once they saw that it was me. It was like, “Sweet! Let’s get her!” And then for the people to exploit it under the guise of being morally upstanding is disgusting — and it embarrassed me because I was a part of it.
Did you see it all unfold and then think, I have to issue an apology?
No, I was in Korea when it all got bad. My publicist called me and said RAINN had issued this terrible statement.
Who’s Rain?
You know, the Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network.
None of those associations came out and gave a statement [criticizing Kristen] without being called upon by the media first — who were doing it specifically to get hits on their websites. That whole system of Internet journalists, where no one is called to account, is almost entirely about hate. All these people get away with doing it because they have no responsibility to anyone. All they need is to get a salacious headline and people click on it, because it’s easy. And it’s quite good being part of these Twilight films because you have to give so many interviews all the time, you can defend yourself. That’s the only way. All of us stick together, as well. There are so many little nerds behind their computers, on their little blogs.
See, if I said that? Crucifixion. You can say so much more than me. It’s insane.
That’s not true at all. When did I say anything [controversial]?
STEWART: You’re really good, but you could say, “I just took a s***on the Queen’s face,” and people would be like, “Oh, I love him! I love him!”

I love Kristen's cover! What do you all think?

David Slade talks about the Bree Tanner novella

New 'Robert is bothered' skit!

Jimmy Fallon presented a new 'Robert is bothered' sketch this time Robert is bothered about the World Cup and expresses his frustration with the World Cup. David Slade explains how Bree Tanner fits into 'Eclipse'

David Slade explained to MTV how the 'Short Second Life of Bree Tanner' influenced 'Eclipse' and how he filmed it;

'He received a copy of "Short Second Life" about halfway through pre-production on "Eclipse," and said that what it affected more than anything was the location and casting choices for the film.

"One of the things in the 'Bree Tanner' story is that one of the hangouts is very close to water and so we specifically went after locations that were near water," he said as an example, with tied in with our earlier article.
Beyond that, he said that he used Riley and Victoria's choice of newborn vampires to inform their casting decisions. "They take the dregs of society," he said as a way of explanation. "They take, not the dregs, but the people that won't be missed. They take the prostitutes, they take drug addicts, they take people on the street, so that we cast people to look like that. It was fun."'

Twilight fans camp out for 'Eclipse' premiere

As we all know fans have been camping out since the weekend to get in position for the 'Eclipse' premiere on Thursday. The Los Angeles Times has a great article on the 'Tent City';

'The third installment of the popular movie franchise about a young girl's romance with a handsome vampire is set to debut Thursday night at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live as part of the Los Angeles Film Festival sponsored by The Times. But by Tuesday morning, the space outside the theater had been transformed into a tent city of colorful nylon domes, portable lawn furniture and shade umbrellas belonging to roughly 500 fans prepared to wait 90 hours for a possible glimpse of Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and the rest of the "Twilight" cast.

"Bucket list; cross it off," said Chawla, 27, invoking the virtual roster of things to do before you die. She wore a Team Edward T-shirt to show her allegiance to Pattinson's character and perfectly applied eye makeup despite the fact that she had been living outside for two days. "I can go home, put it in my scrapbook, read it, and say, 'That was really cool.' "'

Rob, Kristen and Taylor talk to EW about 'Eclipse'

Rob, Kristen and Taylor have sat down and talked to 'Entertainment Weekly' to promote 'Eclipse'. The interview will be in the issue on stands June 25th and EW's Hollywood Insider column has released a short preview of their interview, read it below!

'ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: You guys are about to start shooting the two Breaking Dawn movies back to back. You signed on to this franchise before Breaking Dawn was written. When you read it, were you thinking, How is this going to be turned into a movie?
: Yeah, definitely. What is Renesmee going to look like? Is it going to be this little teeth-baby running around? It’s going to be weird.
[Laughs] “Little teeth-baby.”
Yeah, but I think it’s going to be cool. One of the main objectives of the series is to get Bella to a point where she’s mature enough to make such a hefty decision, and she goes through a lot. In the fourth one, she is going to become a wife. She is going to become a mom. She is going to become an adult and a vampire. To do it so young, it needs to be believable. So I’m really excited about playing that.
Some people read Breaking Dawn as very pro-life and Mormon because Bella decides to have her baby even though it’s endangering her life. Did any of that bother you when you read the book?
No, because it made sense. Not wanting to give up the baby is about her holding onto that last thing that she would have to give up if she was not human anymore. Right after she and Edward sleep with each other for the first time, she says, “Oh, f***, I might want to be human for a little bit longer.” The baby is just an even more intense version of that.
PATTINSON: I think people make up all these Mormon references just so they can publish Twilight articles in respectable publications like the New York Times. Even Stephenie [Meyer, author of the Twilight novels] said it doesn’t mean any of that. It is based on a dream.
The Breaking Dawn movies are the last in the series. How do you feel about all of this coming to a conclusion soon?
In terms of shooting them, they’re almost done. We’re going to be done by March.
It will be so weird, the last day of filming that last movie.
It will be sad, too. It’s been one of the most crazy, indulgent experiences as an actor, to be able to follow a character for this long.
I think stopping will be very weird.
It will just feel like a chapter has been closed.
A big chapter.
STEWART: I’m going to be like, “But wait, there’s this scene…”

Billy Burke talks new Album and working with Kristen

In an exclusive video interview with at the Gibson Showroom in Beverly Hills, Billy talked about the album Removed, revealed his awkward moments on set with Kristen Stewart and joked about how the cast dissed him at their jam sessions.  "Bella and I have a scene in the kitchen, where it gets a little awkward - I feel compelled to have the talk with her about sex and being safe and all that. Even right now I'm getting a little nervous about it", he admitted.  Billy told he enjoys working with Kristen because they both have the same acting method.
"We get our idea of what we would like to see happen and we just throw it out there."  The Twilight cast members are all musically talented.  Robert Pattinson plays the guitar and Jackson is in a band, but the late night jam sessions they all have after hours seem to have left someone out.  "Haven't been invited, thanks guys," Burke joked.

'Eclipse' DVD possible extra scenes

The movie isn't even out yet but already fans are eagerly wondering what extras may appear on the 'Eclipse' DVD. David Slade and series producer Wyck Godfrey addressed this during their press panel for 'Eclipse'.

According to Wyck "There was a great scene with Angela and Kristen that is really just kind of two girls talking about guy troubles, and it’s really, really sweet, but it took place in a section of the movie that we really had to kind of propel.". David Slade added "There were a number of scenes which just felt excessive in terms of beating the same story, so we took them out, but some of them were really nice and are great little standalones...What happens is the film has its own momentum from the script, and you start driving and you start snowballing, you start going and going and going. By the time you hit the third act you’re just blasting along. And that scene just went — (skidding noise) stop. But it’s a beautiful scene, beautifully performed, and it’s going to be a nice, little bonus for fans of the books to know that we went and shot that stuff."

In addition Wyck said that the behind the scenes portion of the DVD will probably concentrate on "get[ting] to see how we did most of the action and stunts in the movie and a lot of the CG process, so all of that stuff, I think, will flesh out the experience for audiences that do like to go behind the camera and see how it’s all done."

Quileute representatives to walk 'Eclipse' red carpet

The Peninsula Daily News is reporting that about 15 representatives of the Quileute tribe will attend the Los Angeles premiere of "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" on Thursday.

"The five-member council was invited to bring a guest as well as a student from the Quileute Tribal School.

However, Chairwoman Anna Rose Counsell-Geyer decided to give up her tickets to allow other members to attend the swanky event that will unveil the latest movie in the "Twilight" blockbuster series.

Although not one frame of film has been shot on the West End -- where author Stephenie Myers sets her best-selling series of Twilight novels -- the premiere of each film has been big news on the North Olympic Peninsula.

"As the chairwoman of the Quileute tribe, I am honored and excited for my council and their chosen guests," Counsell Geyer said.

"As the days are getting closer, Taegan [Geyer's daughter] and I are very happy that another mother-daughter [Dawn Bender and her daughter, Stephanie] will share the experience and excitement that we felt at last year's event.

"Taegan is truly excited for Stephanie. The movie will be such a hit that this phenomenon is going to be bigger than the last couple of years."

The third ticket was bestowed on Leticia Jaime, a 2009 graduate of the tribal school and current transportation coordinator for the tribe.

Jaime, who is married to Rio Jaime and mother to 9-month-old Donna Mae, said she and the others will leave Wednesday for the festivities.

"I'm honored, and it is such a privilege to go to the . . . premiere representing the Quileute nation," she said.

"I am very fortunate to carry on our traditions and society handed down throughout the generations."

IESB Interviews Wyck Godfrey

Wyck Godfrey the producer of all three 'Twilight' movies so far has done a great interview with on 'Eclipse' and all things 'Twilight'. He talks about the logistical challenges of 'Breaking Dawn' and how 'Eclipse' is a more dangerous movie than 'New Moon';

"IESB: What was it about David Slade that made him the right director for Eclipse?

Wyck: We felt that he was a real antidote to the classicism of Chris Weitz’s filmmaking. I think this is a more dangerous film. It’s about revenge and being torn between two people, and we wanted a real raw intensity to the style. Hard Candy was the film that I had loved since I first saw it, and I just was amazed by how he kept a movie about two people in a house, so bristling with energy and anxiety. The performance that Ellen Page gave in that movie made me feel like this guy knew how to direct young actors. And, with the way he shoots with a very tight lens and shallow focus, everything feels very edgy. You always run the risk of a series like this growing stale for people, and one of the ways to avoid that is to bring a different filmmaking style to each film, and David felt like a perfect fit.

IESB: With Bill Condon being the first director to take on two of the movies, for Breaking Dawn, what was it about him that made you decide he was the right person?

Wyck: I think the maturity of the story in Breaking Dawn. Both Rob [Pattinson] and Kristen [Stewart] are going to have to go into stories that, in a sense, are older than they are, with marriage, childbirth, parenthood and how you become equals in a marriage, and I think Bill is a very sophisticated filmmaker. He has won Academy Awards for actors in his movies, and most of his movies have somebody nominated. From a performance standpoint, we really wanted a filmmaker that’s going to dig deep into the characters of Bella, Edward and Jacob and really illicit strong, amazing performances.

IESB: Since there are so many things going on in the next story, do you see anything in particular as being the biggest challenge that you’re going to have to deal with?

Wyck: I think the biggest challenge is going to be just the sheer size with the amount of vampires on a battlefield in the final conflict of Breaking Dawn, which is supposed to take place in a snow covered field. Different vampires have different powers, and it’s just going to, logistically, be a really difficult film."
