Rob's appearance on Hope for Haiti telethon

Tonight was the Hope for Haiti telethon and it was an incredibly moving and beautiful two hours. The stories were heartbreaking and inspiring. The Haitian people are so full of life and faith, I was truly amazed.

Of course, we were proud to be Rob fans tonight. He looked wonderful and did a great job.

The transcript of Rob's segment from MTV

"Underneath a flattened university, Maxine Fallon waited. She was crouched in a fetal position and could barely move. In the darkness and during the hectic sounds of the day, through the pain, the hunger and thrist, she prayed that someone would find her. And on the sixth day her prayers were answered, she was found because of a text message from the rubble sent rescuers to her side. Unlike any other event in history, our world has been connected to this tragedy because of technology. Twitter updates, Facebook pages with pictures of the missing and text messages for help. This technology is working right now to connect us, too. At hopeforhaitinow.org, you can donate and you can instantly interact with people in Haiti and anywhere in the globe. Join with those watching and see what they're saying about something we all care deeply about — helping the Haitian people get back on their feet. Please go to hopeforhaitinow.org. Thank you."

Taylor Lautner and Anna Kendrick were there in the phone bank. It was a good night to be a Twilight fan.

For the record, I'm a huge fan of the beard. However, one of the best tweets of the night came from IrishTwiSisters
We love Rob, We are proud of Rob but tonight is NOT ABOUT ROB. The night is about #HopeForHaiti donate here --> HopeForHaitiNow.org

The need is still great and will continue to be so for a long time to come. Please donate anything that you can. Every little bit helps. If every on of our twitter followers donated just $5 that would be $7,000. Twilight fans have already made a big difference. Thinking of Rob, The Fandom Gives Back and MsKathy have worked so hard to support this cause. Let's keep helping and do what we can.

Thanks to Twilight Poison and ROBsessed.
