Thanks to Thinking of Rob and Robsessed.

Happy Birthday, Jodelle! We know you're only with us on the Twilight journey for a brief time, but we love everyone on the cast. We hope you've really enjoyed the experience, and look forward to seeing you in your future projects!
It's no secret I'm an Edward girl, but every now and then it's nice to show the other Twilight men a little love, too. So, I'll try to stay focused long enough to bring you a few Jasper fanfics that I've really enjoyed.
Lastly, my personal favorite Jasper fiction EVER. When You Say Nothing At All, by ZepherSky. Zeph is another LTT-found friend, and is an amazing writer. The one-shot is actually an outtake from her fanfic Across the Hall, which is Bella/Edward centric, but is written instead from Alice's POV as she reflects on Jasper. It's rated M, mostly because the original fic is, I think, but it is not at all graphic or explicit. An amazingly sweet, poignant reflection on the love Alice has for her Jasper. An all-human story, with incredible tie-ins to vampire Jasper.
Going for the football
What is it about his ability to gracefully defy gravity that entrances us so?
and on the bike...a little Jacob-y
PSA: Please remember ladies, the boy is still 17, and while that may be legal in GA and other places...he's technically still a minor. Don't leave any comments that will cause Chris Hansen and Dateline to descend upon the blog. LOL

Spike TV's Scream Awards are approaching, filming on October 17, and airing on October 27. I've never watched this awards show, and I don't know if it's a big deal or not, but, of course, we're going for Twilight sweeping every award show possible. Not surprisingly, Twilight and the cast are nominated for the following categories:“SCREAM 2009” will celebrate the year of the vampire and the phenomenal popularity of the “Twilight” saga with cast and World Premiere footage from the highly-anticipated “New Moon.”

In observance of World Habitat Day 2009, I’d like to draw your attention to Habitat for Humanity of the Mississippi Gulf Coast (HFHMGC), located in Biloxi, MS. Along with New Orleans and coastal Alabama and parts of the Florida panhandle, the Mississippi Gulf Coast was devastated by Hurricane Katrina more than 4 years ago, and is still working diligently to try and rebuild the area in general, and more specifically the homes that were lost for families that are still in need. We’re rebuilding on the coast every day, but we can’t do it without YOU!
HFHMGC builds on a weekly basis and has week-long volunteer opportunities available in addition to daily opportunities. You can check out their official website at http://www.hfhmgc.org. Affordable lodging & meals for the week is available for those from out-of-state!
The intention of this message is to raise awareness that rebuilding is still being done, and volunteers are still desperately needed! Many expenses while volunteering (often including airfare, mileage, food/lodging, etc.) are all tax deductible. HFHMGC accepts any volunteers who are 16 and older (though minors do require that an adult accompany them on the trip). Please see the official website for details.
Please check out the official website at http://www.hfhmgc.org, or email the Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@hfhmgc.org. Your assistance is vital and appreciated!
*This is not an official post by any member of HFHMGC or its associates. This is a personal message.*
And is if that isn't enough the prizes do not end there! From Amazon.com...Prize. We will award 1 Grand Prize consisting of a trip for 2 to Los Angeles, CA to attend the premiere of “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” (the “Picture”). The Grand Prize includes:

Buzznet: What is the inspiration behind "Shooting The Moon" on the New Moon soundtrack?Damian: The song is about an astronaut involved in a conspiracy. I am not personally a doubter re: the US moon landing, but the story fascinates me. The story, that is, that would be, were the conspiracy theory true. One of the most iconic heros of all time would have to live with the guilt. He'd have to keep such a heavy, terrible secret: that this huge historical watershed was a cynical lie. As the basis of a song, it let me get at a feeling that I otherwise have a hard time describing, the feeling of dread and conviction at the same time. Of wanting to say it's going to be OK, when in fact it probably isn't. It's a feeling I have a lot. The hero knows the only way to make things better in the long run is to unleash this awful truth which is going to break everyone's heart.
Buzznet: Did you create this song with the intention of having it on the New Moon soundtrack? Was "Shooting The Moon" recorded at the same time that you recorded your songs on your upcoming album?Damian: It was recorded along with the songs on our new album, but it was a perfect fit for New Moon. Our record's already nearly an hour long, so we could afford it let this one go on to greener pastures. Which is no euphemism. The song is in such great company on this soundtrack that it's probably happier in its new home.
