Gorgeous Rob Pics from Tu Magazine

Ready to swoon? Rob IS legal, in all countries and states. Try to keep the comments PG-13 if you can...

See you at the Office, Rob...

oh, how we love the piano....

I see you're speechless about the office thing...

That's my favorite key now...

Holy Jawline, Batman!

I'll be back...later..

Thanks to Thinking of Rob and Robsessed.

Happy Birthday, Jodelle Ferland!

Happy Birthday, Jodelle! We know you're only with us on the Twilight journey for a brief time, but we love everyone on the cast. We hope you've really enjoyed the experience, and look forward to seeing you in your future projects!

Fan Made Friday: Jasper Fiction!

It's no secret I'm an Edward girl, but every now and then it's nice to show the other Twilight men a little love, too. So, I'll try to stay focused long enough to bring you a few Jasper fanfics that I've really enjoyed.

A number of my Twi-friends that I've met through various blogs and forums (shout out to the LTT girls & unicorns) love Jasper as much as I love Edward, and I've gotten a number of recommendations from them. Many, though, aren't..ahem..appropriate for mention on a pg-13 blog.

I did want to feature a few that are near and dear to my heart.

First off, Little Sister, by Tanwellman. I mentioned this one once before, but it deserves another go. Jasper's POV of some of the events in Breaking Dawn. So amazing with the overlay of emotions present during that story. His perception of his whole family, and what he feels about his experiences with them and the changes that are happening are just beautiful.

Next up is Waiting for You, by JunamrsgrlAKAJazzled. Jazzled is an awesome chick I met from the LTT crowd, and my personal go-t0 girl for anything Jasper/Jackson related. Her story is rated M, so be warned about adult language and content, but it is a very enjoyable story.

ElleCC and LaViePastiche on are hosting a writing competition called For the Love of Jasper , looking for the best one-shots focusing on Jasper. Entry dates are past, but voting is beginning now. Serving as judges are some of the big names in fanfiction, so it's great for the folks entering to get some notice.

I have two that I want to bring to your attention, though one is a clear favorite for me.

Penpals, by Calliope_Jones. In spite of my obvious bias for the next story I'll talk about, I would be remiss in not mentioning this one. It literally brought tears to my eyes. A very sweet story about a institutionalized Alice and Iraq-deployed Jasper, and their correspondence. Definitely a worthy contender, in my opinion.

Lastly, my personal favorite Jasper fiction EVER. When You Say Nothing At All, by ZepherSky. Zeph is another LTT-found friend, and is an amazing writer. The one-shot is actually an outtake from her fanfic Across the Hall, which is Bella/Edward centric, but is written instead from Alice's POV as she reflects on Jasper. It's rated M, mostly because the original fic is, I think, but it is not at all graphic or explicit. An amazingly sweet, poignant reflection on the love Alice has for her Jasper. An all-human story, with incredible tie-ins to vampire Jasper.

Check all these out!

More wet Taylor pics

Twifans brings us 52 pictures from Taylor's Rolling Stone shoot in Malibu. Here are a few of my favorites. If you like them, you can see the rest here. (Click to enlarge)

Please note the size of his bicep in comparison to the size of his head...
Going for the football
What is it about his ability to gracefully defy gravity that entrances us so?
and on the bike...a little Jacob-y
PSA: Please remember ladies, the boy is still 17, and while that may be legal in GA and other places...he's technically still a minor. Don't leave any comments that will cause Chris Hansen and Dateline to descend upon the blog. LOL

Kristen Stewart Photoshoot, All Eyes and Hair, And Gorgeous

These amazingly gorgeous pictures are from Kristen's Allure Magazine photo shoot and cover. I love her eyes. And the HAIR. I miss the hair.

See more over at TwiCrackAddict.

Wednesday Wrap-Up

Wednesday, Wednesday, Wednesday. This week is already going by so fast. Everything from Real Life to Twi-Life is busy, busy, busy.

Apparently, I'm into threes today.

As always, there's News We Missed, so let's take a look.

Get Ready To Scream

Spike TV's Scream Awards are approaching, filming on October 17, and airing on October 27. I've never watched this awards show, and I don't know if it's a big deal or not, but, of course, we're going for Twilight sweeping every award show possible. Not surprisingly, Twilight and the cast are nominated for the following categories:

  • The Ultimate Scream – Twilight
  • Best Fantasy Film – Twilight
  • Best Fantasy Actress – Kristen Stewart, Twilight
  • Best Fantasy Actor – Robert Pattinson, Twilight
  • Best Supporting Actress – Ashley Greene, Twilight
  • Best Breakout Performance – Taylor Lautner, Twilight
  • Robert Pattinson, Twilight
  • Best Ensemble – Twilight
  • Scream Song of the Year – “Decode” by Paramore, Twilight
  • Best Villain – Cam Gigandet as James
You can still vote here.

As a bonus, Spike TV just announced:

“SCREAM 2009” will celebrate the year of the vampire and the phenomenal popularity of the “Twilight” saga with cast and World Premiere footage from the highly-anticipated “New Moon.”

No news yet as to which cast members will be in attendance, but, of course, we'll let you know when we find out.

Even Your Pumpkins Can Be Sexy Now

Want to have the hottest jack-o-lanterns ever? They may not, be scary but they're bound to be popular. Now your front porch can be Twilighted-up, with these pumpkin carving kits. Now those glowing amber eyes can be staring through YOUR window. Check them out here, here and here!

We Can't All Get in to KStew's Skinny Jeans

We've mentioned Torrid before, as a source for good Twi-gear. They've come through again for those of us with a few more curves than the Hot Topic target market. Plus-sized Twilight t-shirts, as well as Bella's party dress and jacket are available now.

Thank you Torrid!

More Teasing from Mr. Slade

David Slade tweeted this pic earlier this week, simply titled "Meadow". Those flowers are gorgeous, and so romantic. I'm going to go crazy counting down for Eclipse before New Moon even gets here!

Taylor is Half-Naked Again

Does it bother you? Right, that's what I thought. One more new still from the New Moon set. Close your eyes, Amber!

Two Hours of Bliss's New Moon listing is showing the run-time as 2 hours, 2 minutes. That's two hours of angsty missing Edward, crying with Bella, ogling the wolf-pack and swooning over the..uh..Italian scenery.

Dear Summit, I'm not complaining. At. All. But we're addicts, so you can always feel free to give us more. Also, I'm greedy. Love, Kerry.

As Tempting as Stefan and Damon Might Be...

I'll still take Edward. No little weed can stop him! See what the truth behind the little plant that can bring the Vamp Diaries boys to their knees at Amber's Vampire Diaries Examiner page.

That's all for this week, take care all. Thanks to Twicrack, Newmoonmovie, and Robsessed for images and news!

Preparing For The Movie: The Danger Magnet's New Moon Discussion

The infinitely awesome Ana Christina at The Danger Magnet is hosting a recap and discussion of New Moon on her blog. This is a chapter-by-chapter look at the events in the book. Several other notables in the Twi-bloggy community will also be contributing to the project. Read TDM's site for all the details, especially about how this is a BOOK discussion, not the movie. No movie spoilers will be given as a part of this discussion.

Here is the schedule of posts:

Thursday, October 1 (Chapters 4, 5, 6) –> Cutie

Thursday, October 8 (Chapters 7, 8, 9) > sjAimee

Thursday, October 15 (Chapters 10, 11, 12) –> Ang (Amcas)

Thursday, October 22 (Chapters 13, 14, 15) –> Fire Crotch

I've read the first two, so far, in addition to rereading New Moon in preparation for the movie. I'm really enjoying the discussion, and it's inspiring some themes I'd like to discuss here. Stay tuned for that as well.

Blogging for a Cause: World Habitat Day

One of the best things about running your own blog is the ability to post whatever you want. Today Kerry and I want to present a special cause to our readers. One of our twitter buddies, Loren aka @PokerStarlight passed along some wonderful information to share with you guys today for World Habitat Day 2009. Here is a message from Loren.

In observance of World Habitat Day 2009, I’d like to draw your attention to Habitat for Humanity of the Mississippi Gulf Coast (HFHMGC), located in Biloxi, MS. Along with New Orleans and coastal Alabama and parts of the Florida panhandle, the Mississippi Gulf Coast was devastated by Hurricane Katrina more than 4 years ago, and is still working diligently to try and rebuild the area in general, and more specifically the homes that were lost for families that are still in need. We’re rebuilding on the coast every day, but we can’t do it without YOU!

HFHMGC builds on a weekly basis and has week-long volunteer opportunities available in addition to daily opportunities. You can check out their official website at Affordable lodging & meals for the week is available for those from out-of-state!

The intention of this message is to raise awareness that rebuilding is still being done, and volunteers are still desperately needed! Many expenses while volunteering (often including airfare, mileage, food/lodging, etc.) are all tax deductible. HFHMGC accepts any volunteers who are 16 and older (though minors do require that an adult accompany them on the trip). Please see the official website for details.

Please check out the official website at, or email the Volunteer Coordinator at Your assistance is vital and appreciated!

*This is not an official post by any member of HFHMGC or its associates. This is a personal message.*

Just wanted to reiterate how important this is. Anyone over 16 can volunteer. There is still such a need an it's so easy to forget that. Those of us not directly affected by these storms have moved on, but many have not yet been able to. Let's do what we can to help them out, even if it's just spreading the word with this post. We're Twilight fans, we are a powerful force to be reckoned with, just ask Chris Weitz...LOL. Let's make something good happen for someone else.

Scans from the New Moon Illustrated Companion

I can't get enough of these! I couldn't decide which ones to post here, they're all my favorites. There are even MORE at RPLife, courtesy of Ralphy137.

Don't be sad, Edward! We forgive Jasper!

I'm really hoping we get to see Charlie go all cop-dad on Edward.

Charlie is a character I really feel for in the books, what a crazy few years for him, too.

This pic just gives me chills...

Dr. Cullen...hello...

Eep! *covers eyes*

Hungry wolfpack boys and Emily...and her famous blueberry muffins.

Yay for Sam!

Apparition Edward, maybe? "Be careful, don't push him.."

Hiding the evidence, maybe? *sniffle* You can't make us forget, Edward!

Aro meets Alice...

46 Days!!!!!

A Peek at the New Moon Soundtrack

One of the bands on the New Moon soundtrack, Ok Go, spoke with Buzznet about their song, "Shooting the Moon". Click the link for the full interview.

Buzznet: What is the inspiration behind "Shooting The Moon" on the New Moon soundtrack?

Damian: The song is about an astronaut involved in a conspiracy. I am not personally a doubter re: the US moon landing, but the story fascinates me. The story, that is, that would be, were the conspiracy theory true. One of the most iconic heros of all time would have to live with the guilt. He'd have to keep such a heavy, terrible secret: that this huge historical watershed was a cynical lie. As the basis of a song, it let me get at a feeling that I otherwise have a hard time describing, the feeling of dread and conviction at the same time. Of wanting to say it's going to be OK, when in fact it probably isn't. It's a feeling I have a lot. The hero knows the only way to make things better in the long run is to unleash this awful truth which is going to break everyone's heart.

Buzznet: Did you create this song with the intention of having it on the New Moon soundtrack? Was "Shooting The Moon" recorded at the same time that you recorded your songs on your upcoming album?

Damian: It was recorded along with the songs on our new album, but it was a perfect fit for New Moon. Our record's already nearly an hour long, so we could afford it let this one go on to greener pastures. Which is no euphemism. The song is in such great company on this soundtrack that it's probably happier in its new home.

Grizzly Bear, another of the bands featured on the soundtrack, has worked it's contribution into their set list while they are on tour. Here is "Slow Life":

Alex Meraz Tries A Different Set of Fangs

Since there isn't enough reality television programs out there, MTV is starting a new one called "Styl'd". In this series, aspiring stylists will compete for a contract with a well-known Los Angeles agency. In one of the challenges, the stylists brought Alex Meraz to a cemetery in Glendale, CA and shot this series of vampirey photos.

Did they read the book?

Regardless, Alex looks as amazing as ever...
