That's right, Larry! Pay the man! Check out the full interview here.
MTV: We’ve been asking your co-stars to give us their favorite “New Moon” line in character. Can you do yours?
Facinelli: Oh, wow. Now I have to reach back a whole year and try to remember my lines from a year ago, when I can barely remember my lines the day of. … OK, here we go: “Like everything else in life, I just had to decide what to do with what I was given.” That’s a line that Carlisle says.
MTV: OK, cool. But can you do it in character?
Facinelli: No. [Laughs.] Then, you gotta pay me. If I’m gonna act, you better pay me, Larry Carroll!

Ok ok, I know some of you are True Blood fans, too. And Eric is not-so-bad when it comes to the hot vampire thing. But there's only one Edward.
InStyle is holding a Vampire Showdown. Best Hair, Eyes, Teeth, Clothes. Go vote, Alice has seen the results, lets not make her wrong.
Oh, MTV. I think they were paying attention to that meeting the magazines had, about teasing us with outtakes and first glimpses.
Sunday night, September 13, (Bella's birthday, even!) MTV holds their annual Video Music Awards. Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart will be there to debut the newest full-length trailer. MTV has provided us with this widget to countdown to the event, and it will turn into a video player at showtime! I invite you to come watch it here with me, and give us your feedback in the comments.
MTV gave us a few things we can look forward to in the new trailer; it appears Summit has listening to the clamoring of the fans!
If you want to read more of the details, check MTV's rundown here! Don't forget to tune in to the preshow an hour before to catch Ashley Greene as the fashion correspondent on the red carpet.
But there is much more to the trailer than just Alice's shiny yellow Porsche. The element that will probably get the most people excited is the inclusion of Dakota Fanning as the evil vampire Jane (only briefly glimpsed in the last trailer), who has the power to create illusions of pain. The new trailer opens up with a shot of her in Volturi garb and then shows the rest of the Volturi guard before revealing Michael Sheen's Aro — the head of the Volturi — snapping a poor human's neck.
The trailer then hits lightly on Edward breaking up with Bella and the heartbreaking shot of her lying bereft on the forest floor. But it quickly moves on to Bella seeing a vision of Edward with his car at Forks High, and then we see Jacob comforting her after the fact. One of the locations the twosome are sitting at is the movie theater in the scene Mike Welch and Taylor Lautner fought so hard to keep in the film.
Director Chris Weitz showed how he kicked the CGI up to the next level by including clips of Bella trying to outrace visions of Edward on her motorcycle and a lot more of the cliff jump than was showed in "Meet Jacob Black." It is almost a work of art as Bella is floating under the water and sees Edward hovering upside down next to her after her jump. When an arm comes to pull her out of the water, she reaches out to touch Edward, and the illusion gets muddled and washed away.
You can also see a shorter version of the new trailer at the release of Sorority Row, opening tonight.
Radar: Being a member of a First Nation do you feel like that helped you bring a lot of depth to the character?
Spencer: Yes, yes I do. Of course, it's written for First Nation people or Native Americans or American Indians, whatever the new pc word is. It helped out a lot. But then again, the way the book is written isn't a stereotypical Native role. That's what I found really interesting about the Twilight series is that it could have been anybody. It just happened to be Natives and I like that, I really like that how she took a contemporary outlook on these characters. It was really a breath of fresh air for all of us, the Native actors. We've been trudging away in films, TV and theater and we can do other roles, we have done other roles that weren't designed for Native people but no one has ever seen them. When we got to this is was so nice to not put on the feather and the leather and the buck skin. There's nothing wrong with that, I take pride in the roles I've played but it was just a breath of fresh air to say that yes we could play these contemporary roles. It was so nice to cut the hair too, yes we can do other things, look at us, and we're a pretty good talented group.
He also speaks about working with Taylor and Kristen, kissing Tinsel Korey, and even gives a shout-out to fellow uber-blogger Lorabell & TwiCrackAddict. Read the full interview here.

Today though, back to business! Let's check back and see what we've missed..
Midnight showing of New Moon: Tickets available
According to Fandango, most Regal Cinemas are already selling tickets to the midnight showing of New Moon. AMC announce that, starting tomorrow, they will also be making tickets available to the midnight showing, as well as the 7pm showings that weekend. I'm still planning on going during the day I think, to save my ear drums. New Moon midnight showtimes on sale in select U.S. locations. Buy tickets now.
Eclipse Set Reports
Not much in the way of official reports from the set, just a few tidbits from the cast and crew.
David Slade cracked me up with this Twitter update:
"From occasional series Twilight Eclipse crew photos. Spike, in charge of camera focus. 9:59 AM Sep 4th from TwitPic"
Chaske Spencer had some things to say about heading up to Vancouver for Eclipse filming and the Wolfpack workout. He mentions something about Rob's workout habits too, and that might have distracted me for a moment. You can read that here.
New Moon News:
Jamie Campbell Bower spoke to MTV about Caius and accents and ripping people to shreds. All in a day's work, I guess, eh Jamie?
Best Dressed Vampire
We also heard from MTV that Alice Cullen herself, cleverly disguised as Ashley Greene, will be on the Red Carpet for the Video Music Awards as the celebrity fashion correspondent. She'll be commenting the various fashions on display, as well as interviewing the other celebs as they make their way down the red carpet.
A few words from Mr. Twitternelli himself..
I think Rob tweeting would break Twitter. Hope they have extra squirrels to keep the servers going.
I'm off to pick up the boy from school, so that's it for this weeks round up, there will be more coming soon though!

One of the things I love the most about Peter Facinelli is the amazing amount of charity work he does. It seem I'm always hearing about something. Blood drives, Vampire Baseball, Alex's Lemonade, and now the Surfrider foundation. The Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit organization commited to ocean and beach preservation.
Peter worked with CharityBuzz and made this Lego mosaic that is now available for auction! If you can, please help this great charity.

*Amber here* Wow, this is gorgeous! Chris Weitz has done such an awesome job with the look for this film. I didn't think it was possible, but he's made Edward even more swoony than before.
