Finally! New Rob Pics!

As I have mentioned before, I just don't do paparazzi photos. They really bother me. So, I am just thrilled that there are finally some new non-paparazzi shots of Rob! These are from the Vogue Dinner Party last night in London.

When I saw this one, I thought that Rob was being very sneaky wearing the beanie so no one could see how long his hair is now.
Then I saw this one...wow. Swooning.... Okay, I'm all better now. Definitely click on this one to make it bigger. He is even wearing new clothes, dressy clothes.

This one just leaves me speechless! Stephen King is quoted in USA Weekend discussing J.I. Rowling and Stephenie Meyer.

“Both Rowling and Meyer, they’re speaking directly to young people… The real difference is that Jo Rowling is a terrific writer and Stephenie Meyer can’t write worth a darn. She’s not very good.”

What?!?!?!?!?! I suppose that millions of readers are wrong. Darn that best seller list. I suppose that's just completely deluded individuals buying all those books. I'm guessing that Stephenie lends more credence to her fans than the criticism of another writer, even if it is Stephen King.

Ryan, You Disappoint Me So!

Okay, let me preface this by saying that I am a big Ryan Seacrest fan. I love his devotion to Twilight, even reading passages from the books on his show. That's wonderful! What a guy. Hmm, he has now saddened me. He has stooped to the level that only insecure men and catty women go...
TwiCrack Addict has posted an excerpt from his radio interview with Miranda Cosgrove. When she confesses that Rob is her crush, Ryan proceeds to mock him, saying that he has no personality! And, "Psh, he's like, 25!" Ryan, at least get your facts straight. Your grasping at straws here. There's no need to put Rob down. Click here to read the excerpt.

I saw these on Jen's blog and just couldn't resist posting them here. Most of these are things we already have heard, but I just couldn't stop laughing reading them. Lauren's Cooking with Pocket Edward

I'm so far behind and I'm working on a big "catch up" post, but this deserved its very own post. This is just another example of how awesome Lauren is and how totally hilarious she can be. I knew Edward was a good cook, but I just never thought he'd be such a help in the kitchen. I can't decide if my favorite part is when he's helping with the cheese or when he rejoices at the finished product. You can see the whole tutorial on Lauren's Bite.

She has shamed me. My Edward moved in here at Christmas and he's yet to make an appearance on my blog! I must learn to share his awesomeness and not keep it all to myself...lol.

Twilight being sold?

There are rumors that Lions Gate will be merging with Summit and buying the rights to their films, including the Twilight saga. I'll post more details tomorrow when I've had more time to research it. Today was hubby's birthday so I've been busy.

Wolf Pack Changing Already?

According to TwiCrack Addict, where I got this picture, Jacob may be the only La Push boy returning for New Moon. The open casting call that has gone out includes both Sam Uley and Embry Call. I hate to see them switch around cast members. It just ruins the continuity of the films. However, in this case, neither of these characters were identified by name in the movie. I had to check the cast listing to find out whether the guy with Sam was supposed to by Quil or Embry. The only reason I knew the other guy was Sam was because of the book.
I have nothing personal against either of these actors, but I don't think that Solomon Trimble looks anything like the Sam that I pictured when reading the books. I feel like it's safe to say that now that I've seen him in character. For about thirty minutes after Rob Pattinson was announced as Edward, I didn't think he could possibly be my Edward. That, however, was based on the poor choice of picture used with the press release. Once I looked at other shots, I decided he could definitely pull it off. I'm not saying that Solomon did a bad job, I'm just saying that he's not Sam to me.
An article on indigenousportal.com says that the feel Solomon is being passed over for a Hollywood teen heartthrob. I don't think Sam would be cast as a teen, not if they are following the book anyway. He's already been changing for a while so he's reached his physical maturity. As for the roles going to true Native Americans, these are actors playing characters. I'm guessing that if they find the right people who are Native Americans that is a bonus, but I don't think that Summit should be criticized if the roles are not played by Native Americans. Is the role of Jane being played by an Italian? Most likely not since it sounds like only the minor details remain to finalize Dakota Fanning in the role.

Ashley & Kellan Talk Twilight and New Moon

I saw this on The Danger Magnet this morning and just loved it. I don't suppose it's a surprise to anyone who's read a prior post on my blog that I am willing to watch any and all Kellan interviews. This is from the set of the movie that they are working on now, Warrior. Also, no surprise that I'll be seeing Warrior when it comes out.
