Tell Me What You Think?

So the truth is I really, really miss this blog and I miss my amazing readers and twitter followers. To show my appreciation and to honor the last film's arrival I'm working on a special post. What I need from you is to know what you thought about the final installment. You share your thoughts with me and if I quote you in the post I'll send you a little gift. I've acquired SO much Twilight merchandise it's not even funny and I'd love to share some of the bounty with you guys!

Send your reactions to my email, I can't wait to hear what you thought of it and let you know what I think of it too!

The day has finally arrived!

It's finally here! Breaking Dawn part 2, which technically comes out tomorrow, will start showings tonight. Not midnight as we've gotten used to in the past but at 10pm! I'm totally jealous of all of my amazing friends who already saw the movie Monday night in LA and all those of you seeing it tonight. For some reason no on wanted to babysit until after midnight during the week so I could go tonight, lol, so I'll be seeing it on Friday. This will be the first time since the first movie  that I wasn't at the midnight showing but I'm trying to be brave!

When will you be seeing it for the first time? Have you gotten your tickets already? If not I suggest you get them ASAP!!! They are selling out very quickly. Don't get sold out! Buy advance tickets to The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2. You know you don't want to risk being without a seat to see Edward and Bella with their new family! For the first, second, know, we're all going to see it more than once!

Enjoy the movie! Can't wait to hear what everyone thinks about it!

Just because I know some of you may be wondering I thought I'd tell you that I'm going in for Breaking Dawn Part 2 as a virgin the way I did for New Moon. I've avoided stills, clips and trailers as much as possible. I went for all the "spoilers" for Eclipse and BD Part 1 and I ended up kind of wishing I hadn't. Since this is the last film I thought I'd go all in one more time and keep myself pure for Edward.

Anyone else doing the same?
(Just so you know, this pic actually came up when I googled "revirginization" and looked at images. Of course, it's from a post about revirginizing before New Moon from the lovely ladies over at Twitarded!)

What has she been up to?

So what have I been up to in the months since I last posted? Quite a lot, actually. Some of it I'll share a little later down the road, but there are a couple of exciting things I wanted to let you know about now!

First, I am a full-time college student these days! It's something I've been wanting to do for years and I'm very excited about it. I'm doing a math class right now that's stressing me out a bit, but otherwise I'm happy to be bettering myself and going after that degree that I've always wanted.

Secondly, I've embarked on a new business venture. Being a full-time college student doesn't pay the bills, you know! LOL I'm now specializing in fun and fabulous girl's night outs! I've joined the world of Slumber Parties and I will be having my first party next sleeping bag required. If you'd like to find out more about the company, place an order, or find out how to do this yourself, check out my new website...

I'll be sure to keep everyone updated on what's going on and let you know the future of Eyes of Amber just as soon as I know myself. I miss all of you wonderful people!!!!

Indefinite Hiatus

I'm sure you've noticed there hasn't been any new activity on the blog for quite some time. For a myriad of reasons, it's time to officially go on hiatus again. This may be permanent, it may not. I haven't decided at this time. Running the blog alone is more than I can do with the other demands in my life and to be honest my heart just isn't in it anymore.

A huge thank you to all the faithful readers who have hung with the blog over the three years now that it's been around. When I first started this, I didn't know if anyone would ever see it. Now it's global, averaging 10,000 hits a month even when I'm not posting new information. I've met some wonderful people because of the blog and I count many of you among my treasured friends.

The email and twitter for the blog will remain active. Thanks again! Hope 2012 brings fabulous things to all of you!

Last Day to vote for People's Choice Awards

There may not be a Twilight movie in the nominations for People's Choice Awards but there are plenty of nominees with ties to the Saga.

The most obvious of course if Robert Pattinson's nomination for Favorite Movie Actor. He's got some stiff competition, facing Hugh Jackman, Johnny Depp, Ryan Reynolds and Daniel Radcliffe.

Next, you have Taylor Lautner's nomination for Favorite Action Movie Star. This is a very stiff category and I hate to say it, but Taylor is definitely looking like a long shot here. While there is definitely a lot of action in the saga, the only true action movie that he's done so far is Abduction. Maybe a little premature to consider him an action movie star.

There are some Twi-related nominees in the music category this year. Of course, Bruno Mars was responsible for the first single of the Breaking Dawn part 1 soundtrack. He's nominated for both Favorite Male Artist and Favorite R&B Artist. Linkin Park was a part of the very first Twilight soundtrack. They are nominated for Favorite Band.

Peter Facinelli doesn't just play a doctor in the saga movies, he also plays one on television in Nurse Jackie. That show is nominated in Favorite Cable TV Comedy.

Water for Elephants is not only what got Rob nominated this year, it's also a contender in several other categories. Rob's WFE co-star Reese Witherspoon is nominated for Favorite Movie Actress. The movie itself is nominated for both Favorite Drama Movie and Favorite Book Adaptation. I'm a little worried about it winning on either category simply because it's up against The Help in both of them. That's another incredible movie.

Also worth noting, although only Twi-related when you consider that Rob was in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire...four of the five nominees for Favorite Movie Star Under 25 are from the HP movies. Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and Tom Felton. Chloe Moretz is the only exception. Really strange to think this is the last year HP will be nominated!

If you haven't voted, or even if you have, go vote now! Polls close at midnight!

Bella's Wedding Dress causing a stir?

According to TMZ, girls are faking engagements in order to try on a replica of Bella's wedding dress from Breaking Dawn part 1 and it's causing issues for bridal shop owners. This picture is from their story...

Not to be snotty here, but let's get real. If you put the stand ups of Edward and Jacob in your store window, it's going to attract attention. I think their choice of display could be causing some of the issue. As far as "faking engagements" I doubt they're the first people to ever do that! lol
The replica dress by Alfred Angelo is available for $799 in sizes 0 to 30W. It's breath-taking, without question.
So...would you "fake" an engagement to try it on? That term just makes me lol. If it's causing issues for shops, I hate that, but let's look at how they're advertising and go from there, you know?
